• Would you rather have tea with Tom Brady or a coffee with Taylor Swift
• Would you rather go on a date to the movies or a football game?
• Would you rather get married in a big church or on a mountain?
• Have you discussed dating rules with your parents? What is the one rule you would like to change?

Digging In

• In what way should (or does) attraction play in relationships?
• Does having a list of characteristics you would like in a partner make you shallow?
• How quickly can you tell if someones “smell” is good or bad?
• As a friend, have you ever tried to speak loving truth to another friend about your concerns with the person they are dating? How did it go?
• What value do you place on mom and dads voice as it relates to dating relationships?
• How does it make you feel when your friends seem to vanish when they start a dating relationship? Have you ever done that to your friends?
• Just being honest – Is the most important part of your decision to date someone influenced by the other persons heart for Jesus? (no wrong answers…its a gut questions) Maybe rate it on a scale of 1-10. 1 = heart for Jesus is not important at all. 10 = the most important

Scenarios

• A really cute boy or girl asks you to a dance. You have some concerns about their character…..what would you say? If you are the friend of the person asked, what advice do you give?
• It is always wrong to date someone who is not a follower of Jesus? True or False? If you said true, why? If you said false, why?
• Dating in high school is a bad idea? True or False. If you said false, how could you change the sentence to make it true?
• What reaction pops up when you hear this sentence? Dating equals pain.

• Take a few minutes and ask your students if there are any questions they have as it relates to relationships and our new series. Do your best to write them down /type them in your phone and get them to me. Thanks!
