Getting Started
Would you rather be in jail for five years or be in a coma for a decade?
Would you rather lose your sight or your memories?
Would you rather buy 10 things you don’t need every time you go shopping or always forget the one thing that you need when you go to the store?
Digging In
Josh and Jesse said, our position in Christ paves the way for how we live out our faith. What did they mean by that?
Read In Ephesians 4:1. As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. What might it look like to walk in a manner worthy of your calling? What do you think your calling is? (Leader Hack = our calling is to be united with Christ)
What happens when faith becomes only about doing all the right things and not doing any “bad” things?
Discuss
Ephesians 4:1 Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called (our calling is being united with Christ) In verse 4:2 Paul continues …with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace
This is essentially about how we treat one another. How we treat each other matters. How do you think you are treating your brothers and sister in Christ. What about students who go to your school?
