Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead
38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said.
“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus (1)looked up and said, (2) “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 (3) I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”
43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”In the video Jesse stated that we see three key asppects is Jesus’ example that can help us respond to situations the bring mounting in our lives.
Does anyone remember what the they were?

2. Jesus prays to the Father
3 Jesus trusts the Father
How can this help you in your journey of faith?
Prayer
Spend time praying with and for one another.
Here is a prayer to pray through
‘Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms,
may the glory of your name
be the center on which our lives turn.[h]
10 Manifest your kingdom realm,[i]
and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth,
just as it is fulfilled in heaven.
11 We acknowledge you as our Provider
of all we need each day.[j]
12 Forgive us the wrongs we have done[k] as we ourselves
release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.
13 Rescue us every time we face tribulation[l]
and set us free from evil.[m]
For you are the King who rules
with power and glory forever. Amen.(The Passion Translation)
