The M&M’s challenge (I’ll Supply the M&M’s)
Description: Pass a bag of M&M’s around and tell everyone to take a few but not to eat them.…yet
Ask each person to share something for every M&M.
For every Red M&M, share somehting that made you angry or frustrated today
For every Blue M&M, share a place you would love to travel
For Yellow M&M, share something you appreciate about your parents
For Green M&M, share something you used to beleive, but don’t anylonger (Could be about Faith or God but doesn’t have to be)
Let people eat the M&M’s as they share.
Digging In
Tonight we talked about how we know about God. The term we used was revelation. There are typically two categories of Revelaton. General and Special. Revelaton, means an unveiling or disclosure of something previously hidden
General Revelation is God self-disclosure in Creation, History, and in Humans Conscious
God has initiated with us and allows us to know His divine Intention and purpose
- What does it say about God that He choose to disclose who He is and what He is all about to us as His people?
- How have you seen Gods character in varous aspects of His creation?
Read (or Have Student Read)
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.

What does Psalm 104 say about our God. Try to name 5 characteristics directly form these verses
Psalm 104:1-9
1 Praise the Lord, my soul.
Lord my God, you are very great;
you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
2 The Lord wraps himself in light as with a garment;
he stretches out the heavens like a tent
3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot
and rides on the wings of the wind.
4 He makes winds his messengers,[a]
flames of fire his servants.
5 He set the earth on its foundations;
it can never be moved.
6 You covered it with the watery depths as with a garment;
the waters stood above the mountains.
7 But at your rebuke the waters fled,
at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
8 they flowed over the mountains,
they went down into the valleys,
to the place you assigned for them.
9 You set a boundary they cannot cross;
never again will they cover the earth.
